Experience—

A career built on products, not just pages

Eleven-plus years, from freelance markup to leading a front-end team and co-founding a Web3 brand. The short version is below — the full story is a conversation.

  1. Northline Studio

    2024 – Present

    Founder

Founded and run an independent product studio whose flagship is StablePay — self-hosted stablecoin payment infrastructure that businesses deploy on their own servers. Not a processor and not a custodian: payment intents, links and invoices through a versioned API, signed webhooks, and an operator dashboard. Alongside it, Northframe (exception-first operations software) and Meridian (client workspaces and billing as hosted SaaS).

    • Own product direction and engineering end to end, and the whole front-end surface: the studio site, per-product sites on subdomains, dashboards, and checkout
    • Shaped StablePay as software rather than a service — signing keys, RPC providers, database, and secrets stay under the customer's control
    • Keep the catalog honest with selected client builds, each with a written handover, plus a small set of free developer tools
  2. Storage IT Solutions

    2021 – Present

React Developer → Front-End Team Lead

Grew from individual contributor to lead: own critical React/Next features, set front-end standards, run reviews, and align engineering with design and stakeholders on a multi-squad product.

    • Introduced the front-end conventions, review process, and component library the squads share
    • Led the migration of key surfaces to the App Router with no feature freeze
    • Mentor mid-level engineers through code review and pairing without becoming a bottleneck
  3. Ionic Hub (Digital & Web3 Agency)

    2019 – 2024

    Founder

Led an agency from proposal through delivery: product discovery, technical architecture, and hands-on build for web apps and early Web3 initiatives — hiring specialists when scope demanded it.

    • Ran discovery, scoping, and delivery for dozens of client engagements
    • Set the technical direction and did the hands-on build on most projects
    • Learned to scope honestly and say no to work that did not fit
  4. Bootstrapious

    2015 – 2019

    Front-End Developer / Theme & Plugin Developer

Authored sellable HTML/CSS themes, jQuery plugins, and custom map integrations. Focused on documentation and consistent patterns so non-expert buyers could extend templates safely.

    • Shipped commercial themes used by thousands of buyers
    • Wrote the documentation and support material — learned to explain code to non-experts
    • Built reusable patterns so each new theme was faster than the last
  5. Teck Station

    2015 – 2016

    Front-End Developer

Implemented responsive UIs and asset pipelines for local and regional clients, collaborating closely with back-end and design to keep iteration cycles short.

    • Built responsive marketing and product UIs on tight timelines
    • Set up the asset and build pipeline the team reused across clients
  6. Upwork & International Clients

    2012 – 2015

    Freelance Front-End Developer

Built bespoke marketing sites, WordPress/PHP customization, and early JavaScript-driven interfaces for a global client base — from quick MVPs to multi-page brand sites.

    • Delivered for clients across time zones with async communication
    • Covered the full stack of the era: markup, CSS, jQuery, PHP, and WordPress
    • Built the habits — clear estimates, clear updates — that still shape how I work
